Should the rite necessarily exhibit itself, at the risk of provoking those who do not share the same convictions and inciting violence ? Before answering the question, one must first recall that the rite is a sexual practice in the sense psychoanalysis gives sexuality. It is to ideal sexuality what coitus is to genital sexuality, and pleasure of the anal or oral type is to pre-genital or drive sexuality. This is why the symptomatic practice which is closest to the group rite and which is most able to illuminate it profoundly is not obsessive practice or the behavior of the masses, but perverse practice. The analogies between this and the rite are indeed striking, and many ritual excesses are equivalent to forms of perversion : this is the case of exhibitionism, of which there is so much talk nowadays. The surest way to avoid such overflowing is to push the comparison between the two practices as far as possible, and restore to the rite its own signification, which is to be speech enshrined within codified practice.

Bruno Deswaene : Adolescence and catastrophe
Adolescence is part of a specific approach of time which upheavals the ontogenetic development of the being. In that sense, it becomes a morphogenetical catastrophe that has to be assimilated by the subject. Being a fundamentally structuring stage of development on the psychological level, it takes into account former experiences and points of breaking up. However, pain does not systematically mean breakdown or crisis though it normally partakes to a morbid interpretation.
The preliminary and early encounter with the sexual in the framework of a sexual assault having taken place during the latency period alters the traditional unfolding of the psychological balance. On the social level, such a preliminary emotional experience entails a specific perception of a catastrophic nature and most of the times does it inscribe the experience within a destructive vision, i.e. altering the totality of the elements that are part of the subject’s psychological stability. However, the taking over of this experience of the sexual as a life experience were not to be understood as an involution process or as a damming of the psychological evolution but were to be understood in terms of a stage that would have to be taken an account of in the successive unfolding of the catastrophes inscribed within human ontogenesis, thus connotating more specifically the stage of adolescence, itself being a specific time within the revelation of the sexual attempt. The latter would then become a moment of personalization by the subject of what is to him specifically an intimate catastrophe.
Florence Goldberg: gushing visions of the pubertal scene
This article emphasizes the experience of the emergence of homosexuality during adolescence for writers such as Yukio Mishima and Hervé Guibert and their accounts of it. From the beginning it seems to be a fantasy enactment of the pubertal scene, mixing incest, abjection and the fascination for horror. This text questions the outcome of the pubertal scene and the importance of the drives activated by a sensory and perceptive intensity, that these two writers bring into the foreground throughout their autobiographic writing. Moreover, the article suggests that we distinguish between what is the order of perversion and more precisely the question of a perverse construction.
Emmanuel Diet : alienation in religious cults and issues of adolescence
The clinical treatment of cult-induced alienation shows that the latter has to do with impasses of identification in adolescence. The deferred-action of the cult instrumentalizes, within the logic of incestual control, the subject’s narcissistic weaknesses, responding with perverse seductiveness to his demand for recognition.

Il s’agit dans cet article de mettre en avant ce qu’il en est pour des écrivains comme Yukio Mishima et Hervé Guibert de l’émergence de leur homosexualité durant leur adolescence et le récit qu’ils en font. Il apparaît d’emblée comme une mise en acte fantasmatique de la scène pubertaire, mêlant inceste, abjection et fascination pour l’horreur.
Ce texte interroge la question du devenir de la scène pubertaire et de l’importance des forces pulsionnelles activées par une intensité sensorielle et perceptive que mettent au premier plan à travers leur écriture autobiographique les deux écrivains. Par ailleurs, l’article propose de distinguer ce qu’il en est de la perversion et plus précisément de la question d’une construction perverse.
Christine Condamin : la métamorphose de l’homme en sein et le fantasme d’une jouissance illimitée dans Le Sein de Philippe Roth
Philippe Roth, dans son œuvre marquée par une formidable créativité et un humour éblouissant, présente des héros aux prises avec des difficultés psychopathologiques qui entravent singulièrement leur vie amoureuse : leur désir est souvent marqué par l’errement, l’inconstance voire l’inconsistance, et leur sexualité par un besoin de contact sensuel insatiable. Le conte métaphorique Le sein (1972), qui s’inscrit dans la lignée des métamorphoses, amène à réfléchir, à travers la transformation du héros David Kepech en sein, sur le fantasme (ou la perversion) tabou mais fréquent de la possibilité de vivre une jouissance toujours renouvelée et illimitée. Dans La Bête qui meurt (2004), le même héros parvient, au prix d’une profonde réorganisation psychique, à abandonner sa chère liberté inconditionnelle et sa constante recherche du plaisir érotique ; il accède à une véritable relation amoureuse où l’Autre peut réellement être aimé dans une dimension sexuelle et affective.
Pierrick Brient : le désaveu du féminin chez l’abbé de choisy
L’adolescence est un temps privilégié de révélation de l’aménagement pervers. Nous proposons de l’illustrer à partir des « Mémoires de l’abbé de Choisy habillé en femme » (1687-1695), que J. Lacan invitait à lire. Articulée à l’imaginaire maternel, la pratique travestiste de Choisy témoigne d’un démenti de la castration et de l’identification du sujet au phallus. De par le maintien d’une phallicisation du pénis, où le fétiche domine, la nouveauté pubertaire se trouve désavouée et le Féminin non figuré. Seule une stratégie fétichiste a pu répondre pour lui au décès de la mère.
Brigitte Haie : le statut du fantasme dans la perversion, au travers de quelques œuvres de p. klossowski
Aborder le fantasme comme théorie de l’adolescence permet d’interroger comment le moment adolescent du fantasme est révélateur de l’orientation dans les différentes structures cliniques du sujet en devenir. Il s’agira ici plus spécifiquement de la refonte du fantasme dans la perversion au travers de quelques œuvres de P. Klossowski. Nous repartirons de différents personnages (Octave, Antoine, le jeune Ogier et enfin Actéon) issus de différentes œuvres pour illustrer comment il y a un arrêt sur images dans le fantasme pervers qui rend le montage de ce dernier en quelque sorte inopérant. Il demeure une mise en scène répétitive et ennuyeuse.

Une perversion ne peut exister que de sa disjonction avec le rapport sexuel. À partir d’un cas de voyeurisme-exhibitionnisme, nous développerons l’étude de cette père-version comme une suppléance au défaut d’une harmonie supposée de la relation entre les sexes, grâce à la production d’un signe, le phallus, qui présentifie le Sujet à travers le regard de l’autre sexe. La concordance avec une inhibition à agir une séparation avec l’objet maternel dé-montre la dépendance de cette version a-sexuée du coït à la carence d’une intervention d’un père réel dans le champ de la castration symbolique.
